C and J Motorcycle Racing Team

Lavisher Building and Roofing are proud to own a motorbike racing team, running a 2015 Triumph 675 and a 2016 Kawasaki ZX10r. This is motorcycle racing at its very best. The team participates at tracks up and down the country including, Donington Park, Oulton Park, Cadwell Park, Mallory Park, Brands Hatch, Snetterton, Castle Combe and Anglesey.

After a COVID affected season in 2020 where we secured 2nd place in the Sound of Thunder championship, we are pleased to announce will be aiming to compete in three championships with two bikes in 2021.

Our priority will be Thundersport GP1 Sportsman onboard a Kawasaki ZX10r 2016. If the funds are available, we will also aim to compete in the 600 class at North Gloucester road racing club and try and go one better in the Sound of Thunder on board 2015 Triumph 675.

After a COVID shortened season, we managed to complete an abridged race season, this time, we competed in the NG Sound of Thunder, where we finished a respectable 2nd in the championship and took a race win and podiums along the way.

2019 Season: An up and down season, the start of the season was very successful, with two second places and a win. After round two we were leading the Thundersport GB Championship. We were still battling for the championship at the halfway stage. Then disaster struck whilst out in the lead on the last lap at Donnington Park, we had a crash. This resulted in us having to complete the remainder of the season with an injury. Consequently, we ended up skidding down to 5th place overall, still a good finish as there were 40 entrants in this year's championship.

2018 Season: We frequently achieve top 10 finishes; with the team accomplished its first win at Cadwell, a well-fought 2nd place at Donington Park and a further podium place at Brands Hatch. We had a very strong end to the season, finishing 6th overall in the Thundersport GB 600 Pre-national class.
